
Kate grew up on a farm near Nebraska City, but now lives in Lincoln with her husband Jeremy, two-year old son Aidan, newborn daughter Nadia, and cat Wasabi. In 2003, Kate received a baccalaureate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in environmental studies with a minor in art. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in textile design at UNL.
Kate’s husband of almost nine years, Jeremy, is a software engineer for the Center for Instructional Innovation at the University of Nebraska—Lincoln and is currently pursuing a masters degree in educational psychology.
In her free time, Kate enjoys art, multimedia design, quilting, dying fabric, board and card games, music, and spending time with family and friends.
